Bandai’s Hobby Division, Tamashii, is still on going with their releases from the Ryuki series much after Max Factory’s figma line had just completed all the 13 riders from the english adaptation,
Common Kamen Rider Dragon Knight.
Being a Ryuki fan as I am I just had to post him up, but anyway, it’s a bit disappointing to see that Tamashii didn’t go on all out with the Mirror Monster bundle that they did with the main riders, Ryuki and Knight, but still it is interesting to give a piece of mind here whether he’s worth it or not since he doesn’t really offer much difference from the figma version, Kamen Rider Strike.
For one, this is the real thing, he is Kamen Rider Ouja and not some US version weirdly named Strike; additionally, it is interesting to note how glorious SHF Ouja’s colors are as opposed to the figma rendition and most definitely, the SHF rendition will have better quality in terms of detail since an observation from the figmas are that they have really rough details and they’re really really visible. Lastly, one thing that stands out, this is SHF, it will surely be in scale with the other Riders since, well, the figmas fall too short when standing next to SHFs. ^^; Though if there’s one thing the figmas do win over the SHFs, it’s the seamless hip joints.
As stated in his very own product page at tamashii website, Ouja will come with the following accessories:
- Advent Cards
- 5 alternate left hands
- 7 alternate right hands
S.H.Figuarts Kamen Rider Ouja is set to be released on December for 3,150 yen.
