She was released last September at the SRP of 3,333 Japanese Yen (much like other nendoroids)
Now we go through the contents. Mayushii comes with alot of arm parts which is a good thing. She also comes with 3 face plates and her Signature sun hat a Nendoroid base and two…yes TWO!! Metal uuuupaaas. I’ll tackle the differences of the two upas later.
Here’s one of my favorite features of this nendoroid. She comes with a base with a peg connecting to her back. Unlike previous nendoroids that have hooks only. I love the bases with pegs because its more secure and its more playable.
Also one interesting thing they did is that they’ve included numbering on the face plates. They’ve also put some labeling on her shoulders (with L and R respectively). which is a good way to organize the accessories so good job GSC :)
So her ahoge also can be removed so you can place her sun hat properly now for people who will buy this figure, be extra extra EXTRA (yes 3 extras) careful with the ahoge, its very small and fragile so you might lose it or a part may break (like what happened to mine). I suggest you keep the ahoge and just use her sun hat instead.
Now I’ll answer the question why there are two metal upas in this nendoroid. If you look at the 1st image they look identical but when you look behind both upas the one is for display purposes and one is for Mayushii to hold.
You can place the metal upa with those two pegs that the upa has and insert it to the holes.
This nendoroid is worth the 3,333 yen SRP. It has tons of accessories , the face plates are adorable and the paint job is awesome. There’s really nothing to rant about this nendoroid. And there are some good things they’ve added like the labeling on the face plates and some parts. Just be very very very careful with her ahoge :).
