Sayaka Miki Joins the “Madoka Magica” Nendoroid Line, Has 8 Swords to Skewer Your Pre-order List

Due to the surge of activity we’ve had this past week, we’ve fallen behind somewhat on the latest figure news, but not to worry, we’re back on track. Besides the Tomoe Mami scale figure announced last week, another “Puella Magi Madoka Magica” figure has turned up for pre-orders which should also prove to be quite popular. The azure sword-wielder Sayaka Miki is the latest mahou shoujo to be included in the ever growing line of Nendoroids from GSC. Like the other characters from the said series, Miki has quite a number of accessories that will make her very fun to pose. There’s usual face plates; one of which where she’s wearing an agonized expression is bound to be attractive, but there’s also those wonderfully sculpted sabers she wields. It’s easy to make swords as accessories to figures, but to make swords that look as good as those included with Miki is challenging, especially the eye-catching gold-tinged handles. I’m not a Miki fan by a long shot, but admittedly, her Nendoroid is very well-made and just as beautiful as the Nendoroids of the more heralded characters from “Madoka Magica.” If you’ve already committed your soul, I mean your budget to the line, then you have no reason not to add this beautiful Nendoroid to your collection. This swashbuckling magical girl will be released in April 2012 for 3500 yen.

Oh, and speaking of “Madoka Magica” Nendoroids, the ever-popular best friend of Madoka, Akemi Homura, has just been released. For those who’ve pre-ordered her already, she’s coming to you soon.
