Hello everyone, iLikeLolis here reporting for duty. This is my very short and first blog entry featuring Nendoroid Touwa Erio. She is my favorite character right now and maybe forever so expect reviews from me about her every figure :D Ok, here is a short background of the character. One day, she mysteriously disappeared for six months, with no memory of what happened during that time. At the same time, she began having an extreme fascination with aliens, believing herself to be an alien investigator monitoring humans. Following an incident where she broke her leg whilst trying to fly on her bike, she constantly wraps herself inside a futon.
Now that’s done let’s do the review!(Sorry for the crappy pics, the lights were busted and I didn’t purchase a new lamp yet. Please bear with it XD) Continue reading →
Another Honma Meiko fig is up, and all fans of her and the anime’ Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Boku-tachi wa Mada Shiranai (Ano Hana) are continue rejoicing…whew! is there any other longer title of anime’ who can beat this ?? LOL… anyways Max factory obviously knows how to use the fan service on this fig…. :)
Very lovely…. She is Tsurumi Chiriko, the 2nd Beach Queen fig ( Meiko “Menma: Honma was the first ) of the tear jerking anime series Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai(Basically the longest anime title that i’ve ever encountered XD) or more popularly known as Ano Hana…
Her meganekko princess aura suits her logical and quite personality…Tsuruko is just too sexy on her pose… I’m torn between her and Anaru… :)
So above her moeness, she still cute without her eyeglasses…thanks to that hairclip (originally/supposedly Yukiatsu’s gift to Menma before the latter died ) ..
I like her more with the longer hair, but this extra hair accessories is another FTW, ‘Coz her look here is the new and optimistic Tsuruko (better watch the last episode of the series)
….So with the release of her…I’m really hoping that wave will also release Anjou “Anaru” Naruko… :)
You can preorder her for a good amount of 3800 Yen with a release date of late June next year.
The latest scans from Japan’s highly respected hobby magazine, Hobby Japan, have just come out and as usual, oodles of new figures to look forward to are once again in the spotlight. This issue seems to be much more interesting than the last two were, particularly due to the presence of very recognizable characters most otaku identify with.
I’m not a Nendoroid collector and I don’t plan on becoming one anytime soon. In fact, I only have one Nendoroid as of the moment and that’s because I’m a mega fan of Madoka, but that’s it. However, seeing this Nendoroid of the lovable specter, Menma, from the surprise hit anime, “Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai” or “Ano Hana” in short, I’d have to admit that this made me rethink about my hardline stance on collecting these anatomically ignorant figures, and for good reason. Menma has got to be one of the cutest Nendoroids made (or about to be) so far. Yes, I know the word “cutest Nendoroid” has been thrown around a lot, but Menma actually makes a good case for herself as she perfectly captures the heartwarming image she presented in the anime. Galileo Galilei, the Japanese rock band popularly responsible for “AnoHana’s” opening theme, is confirmed to be performing the upcoming series’, “Mobile Suit Gundam AGE,” opening theme as well. The news came from the band’s web site and this will be their 6th single. The song is entitled, “Asu e” and will be released as a CD single on December 7. However, prior to the CD release, the song will also be available as a mobile phone ringtone and as a downloadable file for PCs (for Japan residents only I guess). The limited edition Gundam version of the CD will include a “Gundam AGE” sticker, the TV edit of the song, and other extras. For a preview of the song, be sure to watch this week’s episode of “Ao no Exorcist” as it is said that there will be a short promo video for the anime after the ending credits.
Kotobukiya has always been something of a “tweener” for me; a company that doesn’t exactly excel but delivers some solid pieces. This WF is no less different as they have some interesting figures, but none that borders on the level of masterpieces. Continue reading →
