“Ikoku Meiro no Croisee” Petits Celebrate Paris Moe But Painfully Unexciteable

Seven Two is a new company known for making a big splash with their trio of Kyubey releases, but this time, they’re out to show that they’re not just in the business to make a marketing pitch for white contract-making trolls. Following the said Kyubey releases, Seven Two will be following them up with this Nendoroid Petit set for the just concluded Paris-bound anime, “Ikoku Meiro no Croisee.” Unlike the previously featured book bundle which only included the adorable Yune, this set also includes the hardheaded Claude and the hyperactive oujo-sama, Alice. All 3 will be included with accessories easily identifiable to each of them so that you can at least recreate some of the scenes in the show. The set will retail for 2000 yen and will be released next year in April. Loved the show, but I’m not a big enough fan to get this.

“Toaru Majutsu no Index” Movie Greenlit, More Head Biting and Electrocutions Almost Certain

A “Toaru Majutsu no Index” movie has just been announced at the just concluded Dengeki Bunko Autumn Festival 2011 on Sunday. While I wasn’t big on the show on its first season, which was veeeery slow and notoriously preachy, the second season turned it around for me. The Touma speeches were still very time-consuming, but they were more tolerable and the fight scenes and arcs were much much more interesting. Needless to say, I’m looking forward to the movie a lot, especially if they follow it up with the World War III plot in the light novels. Of course, the return of moe characters, Index, Misaka and Co. should make the waiting even more painful. More details about the movie will be revealed in the upcoming October issue of ASCII Media Works’ Dengeki Bunko Magazine.
