TAGCOM 6 Event Report (Yes, We Had a Display There!)

When we have anime figure displays, we’re usually given at least a month to prepare for the event. Why a month? Well, consider that not only do we have to invite lenders and record their figures to be displayed in the event, but we also have to layout the name tags for the figures and have further discussions with the organizers with regards to the floor space we have to work with. “Toaru Majutsu no Index” Movie Greenlit, More Head Biting and Electrocutions Almost Certain

A “Toaru Majutsu no Index” movie has just been announced at the just concluded Dengeki Bunko Autumn Festival 2011 on Sunday. While I wasn’t big on the show on its first season, which was veeeery slow and notoriously preachy, the second season turned it around for me. The Touma speeches were still very time-consuming, but they were more tolerable and the fight scenes and arcs were much much more interesting. Needless to say, I’m looking forward to the movie a lot, especially if they follow it up with the World War III plot in the light novels. Of course, the return of moe characters, Index, Misaka and Co. should make the waiting even more painful. More details about the movie will be revealed in the upcoming October issue of ASCII Media Works’ Dengeki Bunko Magazine.
