C3xHOBBY Event Roundup: Same Old, Same Old… Only In Technicolor

Unsatisfied with the semi-annual monetary carnage brought about by Wonder Festival, figure manufacturers have once again brought out their wares for future consumption. However, unlike WonFes, C3xHOBBY seems more like a minor technicolor preview of already featured goods, rather than the major blockbuster wallet beat down we’ve come to expect. There won’t be comments on most of the figures, except those with undesirable stuff to note of (like release dates and if available, price) as we’ve covered them already in the previous Wonder Festival coverages. More pics after the break…

Max Factory

Oh, what a doujin game can do to improve the reputation of this blue-haired emo girl. figma Miki Sayaka might not garner much in terms of sales, but a run through of “Grief Syndrome” just might improve it juuuuuuust a bit. She comes out in February 2012.

Badass dude is badass… (especially when your seiyuu is Date Akira)

Good Smile Company

As if the world needed more Nanoha Petits to go around, GSC releases more of them. Nendoroid Petit Nanoha and Fate Swimsuit Version will be going to the beach in January 2012 for 1800 yen.

GSC will be making lots of contracts in the coming months… /人 ◕ ‿‿ ◕ 人\

Kotobukiya

That school girl Nanoha from WonFes has been given color! Makes me wanna bite her… ummm… bread. Yum.

Koto realizes the value of the fujoshi market…

Bandai

RG 1/144 Freedom Gundam also spotted as a painted prototype. I don’t know about you but it looks kinda’ out of proportion in my eyes. The panel lines are too much for my tastes as well. Meh.

MGs Heavyarms and Sandrock in Katoki’s specifications were also shown at the event. I’m liking Sandrock more especially with the effects on his massive blade weapons. Heavyarms I’m not so looking forward to. For some reason, Bandai looks to have hit the foul zone with the leg proportions. I’m pretty sure they just released these to complete the lineup but they could’ve at least tried to get the measurements right.
